Animal observation

In this section I collect photos of animals that I have encountered so far.

This page is currently still under construction. The many 10,000s of pictures first have to be well organized! However, I have taken the time to list most of the animals photographed. Of course, you can't assume that every animal is super photogenic and that you'll only get beautiful pictures. I usually collect them in advance to get an overview. What species are there and where can I find them? Just what you do as a layman for a systematic familiarization ;).

*Species identification in progress

I would like to take this opportunity to point out that identifying birds as a non-ornithologist is anything but easy. I can now recognize a few by their call or have a tendency to do so, but much more often the birds fly past briefly at a great distance. Certain species also look similar. Sometimes even a photo doesn't help. So it can happen that the identification is not always completely correct. Anyone who knows better is welcome to write to me ;).
